In June 1999 the German sales office of Japan Cash Machine Co. Ltd. was upgraded to a wholly owned subsidiary as " Japan Cash Machine Germany GmbH ".
JCM wanted to prove their commitment to the European Customers by providing capital resources, Customer support and a more efficient and flexible sales organization. JCM products were now manufactured in Japan or in China and shipped to the German warehouse where they were re-configured in accordance to specifications of the orders received.
The technical requirements for the production were in place by the middle of the year 2000. The conversion of 12 national currencies to the EURO provided the final test in the year 2001. This was the first year that JCMG shipped more than 100,000 bill validators and established a trend of success.
From October 2000, the management team was reinforced by the addition of a manager with international experience. The expansion in the gaming sector continued and made progress in the Industrial Applications field such as parking, banking and vending where JCMG was able to gain considerable market share in Europe. By setting up "JCM Service Centers" throughout Europe, customer support became more capillary. Under his management, JCM became the best seller in Eastern Europe, consolidating the gains even further in 2002.
JCM acknowledged the success of the European subsidiary by the move to new premises that would allow further expansion.
JCMG is actively researching the market in order to manufacture new products which are specially suited to its market area in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
